Sponsors are being sought for the Whiskers and Wine Comedy Night which is being held on Saturday, Sept. 26. The event will be held at the Briggs Wood Conference Center in Webster City, which is located at 2501 Brigs Woods Trail.
All proceeds benefit the Hamilton County Animal AdvoCATes and The Cat Hut. Currently The Cat Hut is housing over 80 cats and kittens and the fundraiser helps support their efforts.
The 4th annual Whiskers and Wine event is the largest fundraiser for the two organizations.
Sponsorship opportunities are varied, and includes a sponsorship of the entire event. Individual sponsorships range from silent auction items to cash sponsors from $100 to $500.

This years event has tickets on sale now. Last year's event had more than 120 guests and raised over $21,000. Tickets are $50 per ticket and $350 for a table of 8. All proceeds benefit Hamilton County Animal AdvoCATes and The Cat Hut.
Entertainment for the evening will be A Night of Dueling Pianos with the entertaining duo of Andy Anderson & Mike Leeds. The pair has been traveling the Midwest performing their high-energy, engaging dueling piano routine for audiences of all ages. Having performed together for nearly a decade in other musical projects prior to forming their popular dueling pianos act, they have a distinctive, almost brotherly on-stage chemistry that accommodates hilarious spontaneity, crowd-pleasing antics, and a musical camaraderie that delivers a one-of-a-kind, unique show. Covering song requests from the 1950s through the favorite songs of today, they specialize in top 40 hits that everyone knows and loves which makes for an exciting, keep you on your feet, singing and dancing show.
This purr-fect night of comedy and compassion includes a pasta Buffet, house Salad, breadstick, assorted pie and cheesecake selections, and the Dueling Pianos of Andy Anderson & Mike Leeds. Andy & Mike were born and raised in Iowa. Andy grew up in Des Moines and Mike is a graduate of Webster City High School. He grew up in Stratford and some of his family still lives there.
Whiskers and Wine will also feature an in-person silent auction. Attendees will peruse auction items and write down their bids. Auction items will be available to view online via the website and Facebook page.
