Classic Car Night rolls into downtown Webster City for Market Nights

3 min read

Shine up those wheels and get ready to cruise downtown because Webster City Market Nights will celebrate Classic Car Night tonight from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in downtown Webster City.

Classic Car Night, sponsored by Karl Chevrolet, is always a favorite evening of the Market Nights season, bringing classic cars, trucks, hot rods, and unique vehicles to Second Street for the community to enjoy.

Classic car participants may enter downtown from 4 to 5 p.m. at the intersection of Prospect and Second Street. Car show awards will be presented at approximately 7:20 p.m. in front of the American Legion.

The evening will also feature live music by Spencer Suchan, sponsored by Van Diest Medical Center. Guests are encouraged to bring the whole family, stroll through the car show, listen to live music, visit Market Nights vendors, enjoy supper or a treat from local restaurants and food vendors and spend the evening supporting downtown Webster City.

"Classic Car Night is one of those evenings that really shows what Market Nights is all about," said Robin Streigle with the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce. "You see families walking downtown together, people stopping to visit with neighbors, kids checking out the cars, music filling Second Street, and our local businesses and vendors being supported. As we come toward the end of another Market Nights season, these evenings mean even more to me. I hope everyone comes downtown, stays awhile, and enjoys the community we are so blessed to call home."

The Trashman, presenting sponsor of the 2026 Webster City Market Nights season, continues to help make the weekly summer tradition possible. The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce also extends its appreciation to Karl Chevrolet for sponsoring Classic Car Night and Van Diest Medical Center for sponsoring the evening's live entertainment.

Market Nights has filled downtown Webster City throughout the summer with live entertainment, themed activities, food, shopping, local organizations, vendors, and opportunities for neighbors to simply spend time together.

"We are incredibly thankful for the businesses, vendors, musicians, volunteers, organizations, car owners, and community members who continue to show up and make Market Nights what it is," Streigle added. "It truly takes a community to create these Thursday nights, and I hope everyone will join us for Classic Car Night and help us finish our last few weeks this Market Nights season strong."

Webster City Market Nights is hosted by the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce.
