Do you know a child that would enjoy learning more about theatre ? Three professional teaching artists from Footliters Traveling Playhouse in Coralville will again lead campers as they audition for, rehearse, and perform the original musical, “The Great Zoo Escape.” The performance will take place August 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Camp will be held daily from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm August 3-7 at Webster City Community Theatre, 1001 Willson Avenue.

The non-refundable registration fee is $45. Register online at wccommtheatre.ludus.com. The deadline is July 20. Registration is limited to 40 participants. Campers must be 7 years of age by August 3 through students entering 8th grade this fall. They are required to attend each day, bring a sack lunch, and a personal water bottle.

The Susan Andrew Summer Children’s Theatre Program was established by Anderson’s Charitable Fund by Cindy W. Anderson, a childhood friend of Susan’s. This fund and additional donations made in memory of Susan Stocks Andrew, a dear member of the WCCT theatre family, are used to reduce the cost of registration.

It’s another great day at the zoo, and the arrival of a new resident has everyone wild with excitement. But when the animals learn their zoo is in trouble, panic ensues.
