Taking home the championship title was Nellie, owned by Madeline Ogg, of Webster City. Nellie received a championship banner, a YETI dog bowl, a 30-pound bag of Purina dog food, and a gift card to Jewell Market.
The runner-up was Rex, owned by Cooper Chamness, of Blairsburg, who received a YETI dog bowl, a 30-pound bag of Purina dog food, and a Bomgaars gift card.
Third place went to Lulu, owned by Sydney York, of Humboldt, who received a YETI dog bowl and a Bomgaars gift card.
Scout, owned by Lisa Tapper, of Blairsburg, finished fourth and also received a YETI dog bowl and a Bomgaars gift card.
In addition to the races, the Hamilton County Farm Bureau collected donations for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and the Webster City Police Department K-9 Unit. Spectators generously supported these local K-9 programs throughout the evening.
The Hamilton County Farm Bureau would like to thank all of the participants, volunteers, and spectators who helped make the second annual Corgi Races another successful event. The organization looks forward to welcoming even more corgis and their families back to the Hamilton County Fair next year.
