It's a great day to plan for a parade
Kendall Young Library board meeting tonight
The trustees for the Kendall Young Library will meet tonight at the meeting room in the basement of the library.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and is located at 1201 Willson Ave.
The agenda includes the financial reports for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, board training on the Open Meeting laws, the meaning of the new Kendall Young Library Logo and policy updates.
Hamilton County Fair parade and crowning of Queen Tuesday
The Hamilton County Fair parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crowning of the Hamilton County Fair Queen will be held at 8 p.m. at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds bandstand.
Kendall Young Library closing early Tuesday
The Kendall Young Library will be closing at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday for the Hamilton County Fair parade.
Back to School night Monday, August 3
“It’s almost that time again! Webster City Community School District invites all students and families to the Back to School Night on Monday, August 3, from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Middle School. The middle school is located at 1101 Des Moines Street.
This is designed as a one-stop location where families can access the resources and support needed to start the school year successfully (Spanish interpreters are available).
Whether you’re heading into kindergarten, elementary, middle or high school – they want to help make back to school season something to celebrate!
