Outdoor pool to open today
The Webster City outdoor pool has been cleaned, and is now safe to use again. The pool will be open their normal hours, which include private and public swim lessons from 10 to 11:30 a.m., adult lap swim and aquacise from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Open swimming from 1 to 7 p.m.
Day Okay Jazz project to perform this weekend
The free performance of the Day Okay Jazz project will be held again on Saturday this week. Bring lawn chairs, beverages, a little cash for a donation if possible, a bit of shade and a few friends. The performance begin at 7 p.m.

Webster City High School facilities design meeting Wednesday
The High School facilities design public meetings start this week at the Webster City High School. If you have questions or comments, please bring them to these meetings. This is similar to the SPARK sessions, opinions and ideas are encouraged.
This will be held in the Prem Sahai auditorium at 6 p.m. on the following dates:
Wednesday, July 15, July 28, August 12 and August 25.
Stanhope Watermelon Days this weekend
The Stanhope Watermelon Day weekend begins on July 17 and continues through the 18th. Throughout the weekend events, there will be a multitude of events including the annual parade, block party on Friday night, annual parade on Saturday and a car and tractor show.
“Lessons of the Holocaust” program July 18
Brad Wilkening will be presenting his program, “Lessons of the Holocaust” next Saturday at the Mulberry Center Church, located in the Wilson Brewer Park
The program begins at 1 p.m., and will last about an hour.
The Wilson Brewer Park is located at 220 Ohio St. in Webster City
