Jam Session in Blairsburg tonight
BLAIRSBURG --The Blairsburg Opera House Jam session will be held from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Opera House.
Musicians, dancers and listeners are invited to attend.
Back to School Night is Monday night
The annual Back to School night will be held Monday from 3;30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Webster City Middle School.
The Middle School is located at 1101 Des Moines St.
All students and families are invited to this evening design as a one-stop location where families can access resources and support needed to start the school year successfully.
Individuals will be available to assist with Spanish during the evening.
Many free services will be available during the evening, including school registration, sports physicals, tech support for Infinite Campus, immunizations, food service support, hair cuts, dental screening, information on the Parent Teacher organization, and a photo booth with Max the Lynx Mascot.
There will be a free dinner to the first 300 people attending the evening.
Bells Mill Park centennial celebration begins Saturday morning
The Bells Mill park will begin their 100th year as an official county park on Saturday.
The celebration begins at 10 a.m. and will continue until 8 p.m. A history of the park will begin at 2 p.m.
The park is located at 3100 Bell's Mill Road,
Day Okay Jazz Project continues Garden Party Saturday
The open air free performance will return Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the Richard C. Carlson Garden, located in the center of the 700 block in downtown Webster City.
Lawn chairs, food and beverages are welcome. The event will continue until 10 p.m.
