Hotel/Motel Tax Grant meeting Wednesday
The Hotel/Motel grant board will meet today at 5:30 p.m. at the Webster City City Hall. The meeting will be held in the Council chambers located at 400 Second St.
Daytime book club meets August 11 at KYL
The Kendall Young Library August Book Club discussion will be held on Tuesday, August 11 about "All the Colors of the Dark" by Chris Whitaker. The discussion begins at 1:30 p.m. for an hour.
Books are available at the adult checkout desk if interested in participating. A book for the September Book Club will be announced and available at this time.
City Council to meet Monday.
The City Council of Webster City will meet at 6 p.m. Monday. The meeting will be held in the Council chambers at the Webster City City Hall, located at 400 Second St.
Two Kendall Young Library events for kids next week
Mark your calendars for two events during the first week of August for kids at the Kendal Young Library. The first event will be held on Tuesday, August 4 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Kids are invited to stop in to the library for a morning movie, which will be "HOPPER." This will be a cool, low-key activity for friends to gather at the library.
Things liven up on Thursday, August 6, when the Family Foam Party is one of the features at the Webster City Market Night. This will begin at 5:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the 700 block during the weekly Market Night event.
