Ministerial Dunk Tank and Foam night returns
It's a fun night for all when the foam gets rolling through downtown Webster City tonight during Webster City's Market Night.
This is just one piece of the pie that makes Market Nights so much fun for families, individuals and businesses. The community comes together to make one of the best events of the summer a memorable evening for all who come.
Market Night opens at 5:30 p.m. and continues until 7:30 p.m. in downtown Webster City with foam, food, music, shopping and family-friendly activities during Foam Night.
Children and families can cool off in the Foam Party hosted by Kendall Young Library, while enjoying live music from Vintage Café, performing throughout the evening on the Availa Bank Stage in the Plaza. Live entertainment is proudly sponsored by Crestview Nursing & Rehabilitation. So grab your towels and join the fun.
One of last year's favorite attractions is making a return--the Webster City Ministerial Association Dunk Tank!
Local pastors and clergy members will once again take turns in the dunk tank to raise funds for the Community-Wide Laundry Ministry Program, which provides laundromat tokens and laundry detergent to individuals and families in need throughout our community.
Whether you want to show your appreciation, challenge your favorite pastor, or simply enjoy the laughter, everyone is invited to participate. Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping local families access clean clothing through this important community ministry.
Cash, checks, and Venmo will all be accepted at the dunk tank.
Visitors can also enjoy a fantastic lineup of food vendors, including Steak'd & Caked, Main Scoop, Quick & Fresh, Hy-Vee, Kona Ice, Beverly Ann's Cookies, La Perla, Mornin' Glory and Leon's
In addition to delicious food, Market Nights features local farmers, artisans, makers, and downtown businesses. Be sure to shop local favorites like Country Twist Boutique, Rustic Daisy, Ace Hardware, and many more businesses that will be open throughout the evening.
"Market Nights are about creating memorable experiences while supporting our local businesses and bringing our community together," said Robin Streigle of the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce. "Foam Night is always one of the highlights of the summer, and adding the Ministerial Association Dunk Tank gives everyone another fun way to give back to our community."
Everyone is invited to come enjoy an evening of live music, family activities, great food, local shopping, and community. Market Night is sponsored by The Trashman.
