Webster City School Board approves agreement for site survey

The Webster City Board of Education met briefly Thursday in a special session to review the bids for the Webster City High School site survey.

The survey takes in the entire property owned by the school system surrounding the high school, including the ball fields and the small piece of farm land that is currently being farmed.

The survey will involve all utilities, coordination with the city of Webster City, review the elevation of the sanitary sewers and locating all utilities not under the one-call purview.

The three bids were from L.T. Leon, R.W. Engineering and Snyder and Associates Engineering.

Snyder and Associates was selected with the low bid of $35,280.

This is a necessary step before trying to address any of the building needs, to insure there are no surprises in any of the future plans at the high school.

Starting at $3.46/week.
