‘Market on the Green’ features food, local shopping, fresh produce and music
Webster City Market Nights continues from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. tonight in downtown Webster City with an evening focused on community, local shopping, delicious food, and family-friendly entertainment.
Presented by The Trashman with stage sponsor Murray McMurray Hatchery, this week’s Market Night theme is “Market on the Green,” bringing together local businesses, food vendors, live music, and activities for all ages.
Local musician Kris Karr will provide live entertainment throughout the evening, performing at the Availa Bank Stage and creating the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening downtown.
Families will enjoy a special Putt Putt Golf Course hosted by the Kendall Young Library.
Visitors can also enjoy a wide variety of food options from local restaurants and food vendors including: Steak’d & Caked, Quick & Fresh, El Taco Riendo, Best Gyro, Kona Ice, The Main Scoop, Beverly Ann’s Cookies, Tikka Talka USA, Pliner’s Kettle Corn, Hy-Ve, Mornin’ Glory, La Perla, Leon’s and Grama’s Diner.
In addition to great food, shoppers are encouraged to visit downtown businesses that will be open during the event, including: Country Twist Boutique, Rustic Daisy, Ace Hardware, and many more local businesses. “Market Nights continue to showcase everything that makes Webster City special,” said Robin Streigle, Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce. “From supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs to enjoying live music and connecting with neighbors, these evenings are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our community together.”
Community members are encouraged to bring family and friends, enjoy dinner downtown, shop local, and experience the vibrant atmosphere that makes Webster City a great place to live, work, and visit.
