Market Night returns Thursday
Downtown Webster City will come alive on Thursday, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. as Webster City Market Night returns with a community favorite, Classic Car Night.
Hosted at the Availa Bank Stage in the Plaza, there will be live entertainment throughout the evening with Lee Klett, performing live music the entire night, thanks to the support of Black Hills Energy, the evening’s entertainment sponsor.
Car enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their classic vehicles downtown for the evening. Classic Car trophies will be awarded at 7:20 p.m. in front of the American Legion, giving visitors an opportunity to admire some of the area’s favorite vintage rides while enjoying all Market Nights has to offer.
The evening will also feature the rescheduled Youth Entrepreneurial Night, highlighting young local business owners who have turned their creative ideas into products and businesses. Community members are encouraged to stop by, meet these young entrepreneurs, and support the next generation of business leaders. St. Paul’s is bringing a fun Noah’s ark themed night downtown.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of food options throughout downtown including: The Feedshack, Quick & Fresh, Hy-Vee, Beverly Ann’s Cookies, El Taco Riendo, Kona Ice, Pliner’s Kettle Corn, Leon’s, La Perla, Mornin’ Glory, Grama’s Diner, American Legion Grill and the American Legion Auxiliary.
In addition to food vendors, shoppers are encouraged to support local businesses including: Country Twist Boutique, Rustic Daisy, and Ace Hardware.
Market Nights continues to be a celebration of community, bringing together local businesses, organizations, musicians, food vendors, and residents for an evening of fun and connection in downtown Webster City.
“Market Nights is about more than shopping and food–it’s about neighbors gathering together, supporting local businesses, and celebrating everything that makes Webster City special,” said Robin Streigle, Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce.
The event is free to attend and open to all ages.
