The official grand opening celebration of ACE Hardware begins today, as part of a three-day celebration of the store coming to downtown Webster City

The three-day event, which ends Sunday, features three days of family friendly activities, giveaways, special promotions, and a community ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at noon Friday, in partnership with the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce. Community members, local businesses, and area leaders are invited to join in celebrating the opening of Webster City’s newest hardware store.

Customers will have opportunities to register for prize giveaways throughout the weekend, take advantage of exclusive grand opening savings, and experience the attentive, neighborly service that makes every customer interaction a priority.

“Our goal is to be more than just a hardware store,” said General Manager Andy Pruismann. “We want every person who walks through our doors to know their questions matter and that our team is here to help them find the right solutions for their projects.”

Each of the three days from June 18 through 20, there will be scavenger hunts, a contractor showcase table, popcorn bar with toppings, grand opening specials, and drawings and give-a-ways throughout the day.

Thursday night during the Market Night, ACE will be sponsoring two bounce houses for the kids, as part of their Family Fun Night. These will be available from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Friday will be the grand opening celebration with a ribbon-cutting at noon, live music by Pradyu from noon to 2 p.m., and grilling with meat from the Stanhope Locker and Market from noon to 2 p.m.

Saturday will be Kids Day with a balloon artist from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; a kids coloring contest and and an interactive map that will mark the unique hometowns of the visitors of the day.
