The ribbon cutting for the ACE Hardware store in downtown Webster City marked the final step in the new franchise, which is being guided by Store Manager Andy Pruismann. Pruismann cut the ribbon above, which was held by Tom Bernau on the left, owner of Bernau Capital Management, and Kim Drautz, holding it on the right. Drautz is the operations manager of the Ace Hardware project for Bernau. Grand opening specials and prizes were ongoing for the three-day celebration, which began Thursday. Customers were also treated to brats and burgers, grilled in the north parking lot.
