South Hamilton High School graduates 62 seniors Sunday

Sunday was graduation day for South Hamilton High School, with 62 seniors graduating. Their class motto was “Pushing limits, breaking boundaries.” Commencement was held in the auditorium at South Hamilton High School in Jewell.

Sunday was graduation day for South Hamilton High School, with 62 seniors graduating. Their class motto was "Pushing limits, breaking boundaries." Commencement was held in the auditorium at South Hamilton High School in Jewell.
JEWELL — The South Hamilton Middle School/High School gymnasium was the site where the Class of 2026 said their final farewells to their high school careers.
The commencement address was given by Isabel Swenson and Parker Stuck, with school board members Jay Moline and Leigh Miller presenting diplomas.
“Does the World Say,” by Kyle Pedersen was performed by the choir, led by choir director Jordan Skarin.
The seniors who received awards were also recognized by South Hamilton School Superintendent Heather Holm and Principal Todd Coy. Those included:
Governor’s Scholar Award and NMSQT award, presented to Isabel Swenson.
National Honor Scoeity: Brooklyn Doolittle, Titus Herrick, Claire Hewitt, Arynn Luppes, Emma Martin, Katrinia Sailer, Parker Stuck, Isabel Swenson, Kaylen Trask and Kayley Zanker.
The Student Council representatives were Ava Corbin, Titus Herrick, Emma Martin, Kaylen Trask, Parker Stuck and Ava Williams.
The Daughters of the American Revolution award was given to Isabelle Swenson.
The Academic — All Activities Award was presented to Daytona Ferrie, Titus Herrick, Claire Hewitt, Parker Stuck, Isabel Swenson and Kayley Zanker.
The Cord recipients were: Silver Cord: Addison Engelby, Kyra Leahy, Sosphie Nibe, Ava Williams and Kayley Zanker
Blue/Gold Cord for FFA: Brooklyn Doolittle, Daytona Ferrie, Erin Greenfield, Brody Harris, Titus Herrick, Claire Hewitt, Noah Lantz, Abby Moline, Abby Richardson, Heyden Runge, Parker Stuck, Isabel Swenson, Gaige Willis an d Kayley Zanker
Red Cord Recipients, for blood donations: Ava Corbin, Lillian Davis, Addison Engelby, Daytona Ferrie, Sydney Gelder, Karlie Hill, Kyra Leahy, Arynn Luppes, Emma Martin, Sophie Nibe, Katrinia Sailer, Parker Stuck, Kaylen Trask, Bryn Whitney, Ava Williams, Gaige Willis and Kayley Zanker.
Red and white cords for the FCCLA were given to Lizza Boon, Ethan Christensen, Lillian Davis, Addison Engelby, Kyra Leahy, Emma Martin, Fiona Rott, Bianca Seaton, Sofia Weispfenning and Kayley Zanker.
Blue and White cords for FBLA were given to Ava Corbin, Titus Herrick, Sam Koehnk, Kyra Leahy, Luke Martenson, Sophie Nibe, Parker Stuck, Kaylen Trask, Sofia Weispfenning and Kayley Zanker.
