JunqueFest 2026 brings live music, food trucks and citywide garage sales to Webster City

A full day of music, shopping, and community fun is planned as JunqueFest returns to downtown Webster City from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 23 during Memorial Day weekend.

This year’s JunqueFest promises more than just treasures and treats — it’s shaping up to be a music-filled celebration featuring a lineup of talented performers bringing energy and heart to the streets of downtown.

Headlining the day is Birdy Young, performing live in Availa Bank Plaza from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Known as the “queen BEE of Hideaway Honey,” Young is an international award-winning songwriter, author, and Nashville recording artist. Her sound blends ’90s country, classic rock, pop, and folk into a rich Americana style — delivering sweet lyrics with a bold edge that leaves audiences wanting more.

Adding to the local flavor, rising young talent Spencer Suchan will take the stage from Noon to 3 p.m. in front of Country Twist Boutique. A local favorite, Spencer continues to grow his presence by sharing his musical gifts with the community.

Throughout the day, festivalgoers can also experience the unique sounds of Cigar Guitar on the corner of Lotus. Known for crafting and playing handmade instruments from cigar boxes, his music brings a creative and authentic street-festival vibe to JunqueFest.

Beyond the music, JunqueFest will feature a Food Truck Festival with 18 different food and drink options, offering a variety of flavors for attendees to enjoy, along with citywide garage sales which kick off at 8 a.m., inviting shoppers to explore hidden gems throughout Webster City.

“JunqueFest is all about creating an experience,” said the Robin Streigle from the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce. “This year, we’re especially excited to highlight live music throughout the day — bringing together incredible talent, local flavor, and a vibrant downtown atmosphere.”

Starting at $3.46/week.
