The Webster City Middle School D.A.R.E. students celebrated the completion of their study on May 19, with Officer Steve Thumma teaching the sixth-grade class (above), and Officer Dave Turpen instructing the fifth-grade classes. During the program, students were required to write a paper concerning the program, how it impacted them personally, and what they learned. The top students in each class were recognized during the program, and each were presented with a certificate from either Thumma or Turpen. There were about 120 students in the sixth-grade class, pictured above.
