The Third Thursday coffee sponsored by the Webster City Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Daily Freeman Journal Thursday.

The Daily Freeman Journal is located at 720 Second St. in Webstser City.

The coffee runs from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tours of the printing operation will also be conducted throughout the morning. Publisher Grant Gibbons will be available to meet during the morning. Gibbons became the publisher of the Dailly Freeman Journal in December of 2025.

There also will be demonstrations of the online editions using both the DFJ app and laptops. Employees will be available to show how to access special editions online, and the difference between the website and the digital newspaper.

The newspaper is not only the oldest business in Webster City, but it also houses a printing operation that serves a number of newspapers across the state of Iowa.

The coffee is open to community members, business members, and other individuals and businesses throughout the Webster City area.
