Spring Stroll this weekend in Webster City
The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to celebrate the season at the annual Spring Stroll, taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in downtown Webster City.
This spring-themed event encourages residents and visitors to shop local, support small businesses, and enjoy a vibrant day of community connection. Participating retailers and restaurants will offer special promotions, unique products, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the downtown district.
In the week leading up to Spring Stroll, shoppers can receive scratch-off cards with purchases at participating businesses. Each card reveals a special offer that can be redeemed at partnering businesses through May 30, extending the benefits of shopping local beyond the event. Local businesses included on these cards are Osweiler’s, Interior Spaces, Mornin’ Glory Coffee, Legacy Learning BRV, Country Twist Boutique, Rustic Daisy Gift and Home, Produce Pottery Station, and Empower Nutrition. Pop-up vendor located in the Chamber office for the event is Alicia’s Macaroons.
A featured highlight of the day is the Charcuterie Experience at Availa Bank Plaza. Guests can enjoy a curated experience at beautifully decorated tables. Preregistration is required and availability is limited, with only a few spots remaining.
The event will also feature a Downtown Scavenger Hunt, designed for participants of all ages. Attendees can pick up a Chamber packet, locate hidden ducks in business windows, and collect puzzle pieces from each location. Once all nine pieces are gathered, participants can return to the Chamber office to assemble their puzzle.
Completed entries will be entered into a drawing for a locally crafted gift basket featuring items from downtown businesses.
The Spring Stroll provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of supporting local businesses while fostering a strong sense of community.
The Chamber encourages residents, families, and visitors to attend, explore downtown, and take part in the day’s activities.
