As warmer weather arrives and spring cleaning gets underway, it’s time to start planning for one of Webster City’s favorite traditions, community-wide garage sales, happening Memorial Day weekend.

Residents throughout Webster City are invited to take part by hosting their own garage sales and registering to be included on the official community list. Participation is completely free, making it easy for anyone to join in and attract more shoppers.

All registered sales will be compiled into a convenient, easy-to-use list published online, helping visitors and locals alike map out their garage sale routes and explore neighborhoods across the community.

This year’s garage sales will once again coincide with JunqueFest, a lively downtown event which begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 23.

JunqueFest brings even more excitement to the weekend with unique vendors and vintage finds, food trucks and local flavors and a vibrant downtown atmosphere

Together, the Community-Wide Garage Sales and JunqueFest create the perfect opportunity for bargain hunters, treasure seekers, and families to spend the day shopping, exploring, and connecting with the community.
