The Webster City High School had several band and choir students perform at the State Solo and Ensemble competition in Clear Lake on Saturday.

Receiving Division 1 Superior Ratings were Ava Ely (flute solo), Jasmin Venegas (trumpet solo), Mishelle Rich (vocal solo), Jackson Meyer, Ava Ely, and Ava Orr (woodwind trio), and Elsie Stevens, Gabbie Sebert, and Sage Bock (flute trio).

Receiving Division 2 Excellent Ratings were Jackson Meyer (flute solo), Ava Orr (clarinet solo), Anna Irvin and Greenlee Williams (vocal duet), Jack Barner (vocal solo), Ash Tincoo (vocal solo), and Liv Hector (vocal solo).

Vincent Bittner also performed a solo for comments only.

The students are under the direction and guidance of Kaitlynn Abens for band, and Aaron McCullough, choir.
