Van Diest Medical Center (VDMC) has announced that Travis Williams, PA-C, with Iowa Ortho, is now providing spine care services in the Specialty Clinic Department at the hospital.

Williams, a Sioux City native, earned a bachelor of science degree at the University of Iowa. He completed a master’s degree in athletic training at A.T. Still University and later earned his physician assistant degree from Bethel University. Before becoming a PA, Williams spent eight years working as an athletic trainer across a variety of settings, including high schools, junior colleges and Division 1 athletic programs.

In his current role, Williams focuses on treating orthopedic spine conditions such as radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, myelopathy, chronic neck and lower back pain. He values a conservative approach when possible, offering a variety of treatment options, including physical therapy, injections, and surgical consultation when needed.

Williams sees patients on the fourth Wednesday morning of each month at Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City. Appointments may be made by calling 515-832-7746.
