The celebration of the completion of the Reisner Substation will be held at noon on Friday with a ribbon cutting coordinated by the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce. This is a major infrastructure investment for Webster City, and the community is invited to attend.

This will be held at 2890 Millards Lane in the southeast industrial park.

The Reisner Substation is a new, large-scale electrical facility designed to replace the aging Passwaters substation and support increased power demand throughout the community.

This critical infrastructure project connects with local 69kV transmission lines and is part of a broader effort that includes underground electrical improvements. Construction began in 2025, with equipment testing scheduled to conclude in early 2026.
