Public hearings to be held Tuesday and Wednesday
Three public hearings will be held this week concerning tax levies for 2027.
The first public hearing will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday night at the Van Diest Medical Center board room at 2350 Hospital Drive. Prior to the hearing Tuesday, from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., the hospital will hold an informational session for community members in the clinic board room. The meeting will address questions concerning the hospital’s proposed fiscal year 2027 tax levy.
The public hearing for the Hamilton County maximum levy will be 6 p.m. Wednesday.
After the county hearing, there will be a hearing for the Hamilton County assessor’s budget and levy.
