DFJ polling results announced

Over the last few weeks, the Daily Freeman Journal has inserted a poll on its website. This is located at www.freemanjournal.net and is near the bottom of the page. The purpose of these polls is to learn more about our readers. This is a local poll only and meant to be fun. Nothing is tracked, and the results don’t go beyond us.

Social Media Poll

Our first poll was about social media: The question we asked was if you could only use one social media account, what would it be. The answers from this were as follows;

Facebook: 33.3%

Twitter: 6.67%

Tik-Tok: 3.33%

Instagram: 6.67%

YouTube: 20%

I don’t use any social media: 30%

March Madness Poll

During March Madness, we were curious to see who our readers were cheering on. The question we asked is: Which Iowa team are you rooting for in this week’s matchup?

The recent poll on the DFJ website determined that readers of the online publication tend to prefer Iowa State, with 44.83% cheering on the Cyclones during the tournament. Cheering for both teams earned 34.48%, neither team, garnered 17.24%. The University of Iowa lagged with support from only 3.45% of the readers.

We will attempt to engage readers with a new poll frequently. This week we are asking what our readers think travelers would find interesting about Webster City and Hamilton County.

Starting at $3.46/week.
