Iowa Central Community College is reminding current and prospective students that the deadline to apply for 2026-27 Foundation Scholarships is Feb. 27.

With just one application, students can be considered for hundreds of scholarship opportunities, totaling thousands of dollars in financial assistance.

The Iowa Central Community College Foundation oversees nearly 300 scholarships, made possible through the generosity of local businesses, organizations, and individual donors.

“We continually add more scholarships available to students thanks to the generosity of many. We are grateful to our donors who make these scholarships possible,” said Mary Ludwig, executive director of development and alumni affairs.

These scholarships are designed to reduce financial barriers and help students focus on completing their degrees or certifications with minimal debt.

“Our goal is to help students complete their degree or certification in the shortest time possible, with the least amount of student debt, so they can have a better life,” said Dr. Jesse Ulrich, president of Iowa Central Community College.

Students complete a single online application to be matched with all eligible scholarships. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, financial need and program of study.
