High School Variety Show to be held this weekend

Webster City High School Choirs invite the community to step into the spotlight for “Variety Show 2026: A Night At The Movies” at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

The performances will be held in the Prem Sahai Auditorium. The entrance is the north side of the Webster City High School, which is located at 1001 Lynx Ave.

This year’s cinematic-themed showcase will feature the WCHS Treble Singers, Lynx Singers, Varsity Singers, Chordination, and special guest performers in an entertaining evening inspired by some of their favorite songs in movie history. With solos, small group features, and full ensemble numbers woven together in a fast-paced, movie-inspired production, “A Night At The Movies” promises something for everyone — comedy, drama, nostalgia, empowerment, and celebration.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students. Activity passes are accepted, payment by cash or check preferred. All seats are general admission seating, and it is first-come, first-served. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.
