This guide, which gives a snapshot of Hamilton County was announced at the Hamilton County Supervisor meeting on Tuesday morning, and is in the process of being distributed.

The guide gathers much of the information necessary to make a decision about deciding where an individual or business might want to relocate.

Cindy Im, Hamilton County Economic Development Director, coordinated the project which provides information on all areas in the county. She worked with OHP Marketing to produce the final product.

“As far as I know, this is the first county-wide relocation (booklet) that focuses on all nine communities equally and promoting all communities within Hamilton County,” she said.

The guide includes cost of living information, housing options, financial and healthcare services, school and church information. It also provides contact information for internet service, public services, infrastructure, employers, recreation, events, culture, and volunteer opportunities in the county.

“The Hamilton County Relocation Guide was intentionally developed to attract new residents by telling the story of our communities by highlighting diverse local opportunities, excellent area schools, the abundant natural amenities and community focus events and activities that make Hamilton County a place people are proud to call home,” said Im.
