New poles part of plan for electrical service upgrade

It's electrifying.

Daily Freeman-Journal photo by Robert E. Oliver
The new glued laminated timber poles, like the one shown here, have recently appeared along White Fox Road north and south of East Second Street. They are hard to ignore, they are wider, and taller than the poles they have replaced. They are the first step of the City of Webster City's project to rebuild 69K electrical lines. These lines are connecting the new Reisner Substation in the industrial park with other substations in town and the jet turbine at the headquarters of the line department at 309 Third St.

Starting at $3.46/week.
