On one of the last days before the Christmas break, the Webster City High School music students were entertained by the jazz quintet, “Day Okay,” seen above. The afternoon performance, organized by Dave Parrott and Eric Hanson, was a thank you for the students’ hard work during the first semester.

Members of the quintet are, from left to right: Tamiann Parrott on keyboard, Kirk Greenley on bass guitar, Amelia-Oliver, vocals; Eric Hanson, drums; and Dave Parrott, trumpet and flugelhorn. With the exception of the Parrotts, all the members are graduates of Webster City High School. The quintet is rehearsing regularly, building a collection of music for potential future performances.
