These are the questions we will answer in the next few months with indepth looks at the people, places and ideas that make up Hamilton County Conservation.
You will learn how 10 full-time employees, a handful of volunteers and some part-time help can build, service and maintain 228 campsites in three different campgrounds.
We will talk about how 10 log cabins capable of housing anywhere from four to 15 guests were built and paid for.
You will learn the history of Briggs Woods Golf Course and its economic benefit to our county.
We will further explain the educational aspects of Hamilton County Conservation and its importance to the youth of Hamilton County.
As we progress with plans for the future, we will paint a picture of our vision and plans to further adult education through a partnership with Legacy Learning.
We will dive into our conservation effort for water quality, wildlife habitat, and pollinators.
