Supervisors will set date for hearing on Summit Pork I

The Hamilton County Board of Supervisors is expected today to set a date to receive public comment on the master matrix for Summit Pork I LLP in Independence Township, which is immediately southeast of Webster City.

Summit Pork is a limited liability partnership formed in Delaware with an Alden, Iowa, mailing address, according to documents filed with the Iowa Secretary of State’s office.

Those documents list the partners as Bruce Rastetter and Eric Peterson.

The supervisors will meet at the Hamilton County Courthouse, 2300 Superior Street, Webster City.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m.

Also on the agenda are the post-election audit report and Hamilton County Auditor Certification, as well as an update from the Ames Regional Economic Alliance.
