South Hamilton School Board elections and Iowa Central Community College measures have good voter response

The two public measures were on the ballots in Hamilton County.

All seven precincts in the county helped approve the vote on the Iowa Central Community College, which passed with a 2 to 1 margin. Voters approved the measure with 1506 votes in favor, and 750 against.

Four precincts in the county voted on the South Hamilton measure, which was approved with 619 ballots cast, 366 approving the measure and 253 opposed.

Kati Lemberg was also elected to the Iowa Central Community College Director for District 1 to fill a vacancy. She ran unopposed, and received 150 votes.

The Stratford School board election one seat, District 4, where Jay Moline ran unopposed. He received 528 votes.

Four candidates ran for the three At Large seats up for election. Cody Frazier received the most votes with 111, followed closely by Carri Eide with 102 votes. Stacie Iles received 98 votes which filled the three positions. Garrett Ament also ran, and obtained 767 votes.

The South Hamilton School Board also had a race for the District 1 position. Travis Anderson won the seat with 363 votes cast, with Anthony Babcock obtaining a total of 221 votes.
