WCF Financial Bank and WCF Bancorp, Inc., appoint new board member

Nick Willwerth
WCF Financial Bank and its parent company, WCF Bancorp, Inc., have announced the appointment of Nick Willwerth as a director of both entities. Willwerth was appointed during meetings of the Board of Directors of WCF Financial Bank and WCF Bancorp, Inc., each held on September 17.
Willwerth, a native of Vincent, is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in business administration and management. He holds a certified public accountant designation and serves in the dual role of controller (six years) and general manager (two years) of United Cooperative in Webster City.
Previously Willwerth was employed as a CPA in Clarion, as well as an account executive with Sports Graphics, also in Clarion. He lives on a small farm outside of Eagle Grove with his wife, Hannah, and their two daughters, where the family raises sheep.
“It’s great to have Nick join the Board of Directors,” said Tim Kluender, President/CEO. “His background and hands-on experience in agriculture brings a valuable perspective to the board, while his accounting expertise certainly provides additional value to our organization.”
“I’m excited to join the Board of Directors at WCF,” said Willwerth. “I look forward to learning more about the bank as it continues to grow and serve a diverse customer base.”
