First responders need to return pagers

First responders in Hamilton County need to check with their department heads to be assured when their pagers are updated.

Sheriff Alex Pruismann scheduled October 14 for Coch to be in Webster City updating individual pagers.

“Every volunteer and first responder needs to talk to their department head to make arrangements to get their equipment updated,” said Pruisman in an earlier article in the Daily Freeman Journal. “If October 14 works, feel free to bring your equipment to the sheriff’s office and we will get it updated.”

“If October 14 does not work, the head of each department should make arrangements to have the pagers updated with Steve Coch directly.”

Pruisman reminded all that the firmware updates are completed and the Kamrar work is finalized, Pruismann asked again for patience and understanding.

This is the critical part of getting all the county first responders back into communication fully during an emergency.

Starting at $3.46/week.
