The Traveler’s Fund is a cash fund set up by the Webster City Ministerial Association that has supported the Webster City Police Department when it has travelers needing a little assistance getting to their destination.

The fund has traditionally been used nominally, but in the past year the demand has grown dramatically, with several hundred dollars needed each month.

The Traveler’s Fund is a discretionary fund administered by the Webster City Police Department.

All applicants go to the police department where they receive a background check and, at the discretion of the officers, receive the necessary assistance (gas, food, lodging).

If you would like to donate to this fund, send your donations to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1005 Beach Street, Webster City. Make checks payable to the Webster City Ministerial Association and write “Traveler’s Fund” in the memo line.
