Tickets are on sale now for the play of the Webster City Community Theatre — WCCT, “The Café Mocha Murders”.
Performances begin on October 4 at 7 p.m. at WCCT, located at 1001 Willson Avenue.
The Cafe’ Mocha Murders blend intrigue and laughter as this comedic mystery opens on the Webster City stage. This is the inaugural directing experience for Ann McLaughlin, with Sally Evans as assistant director. There will be five opportunities to watch this show, including two Sunday matinees.

‘The Café Mocha Murders’ story unfolds as the staff of The Bean Shack gather for what should be an ordinary meeting–until a sudden blackout leaves one of them dead. As tensions rise, suspicions brew, and secrets begin to spill, everyone wonders who might be the next to get “roasted.” This fast-paced comedic mystery blends clever dialogue with a coffeehouse setting, serving up a lighthearted whodunit that is full of flavor.
The cast includes Rachel Derrig as Soma, Jack Barner as Neil, Kathy Oliver as Beverly, KeVon Edwards as Ian, Reba Stein as Ivy, Amelia Oliver as Mel, Max Anderson as Ben, Gayette Grimm as Cathi and Aidan Haman as Eddie the pizza guy.
