The Webster City Community Theatre’s Reader’s Theatre will be held Sunday September 21.

This free event will be held in the basement of the Webster City Commuity Theatre located at 1001 Willson Avenue at 3 p.m.

Mark Andrew will lead the reading of “Love/Sick” by John Cariani.

Participants do not need to prepare and newcomers are always welcome to read, participate and enjoy the story as it unfolds through a group reading.

A darker cousin to “Almost Maine,” John Cariani’s LOVE/SICK is a collection of nine slightly twisted and completely hilarious short plays.

Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, this 80-minute romp explores the pain and the joy that comes with being in love.

Full of imperfect lovers and dreamers, LOVE/SICK is an unromantic comedy for the romantic in everyone.
