Ribbon-cutting will mark Lori Mason’s succession at Seneca Foundry

The public is invited to a special ribbon cutting ceremony honoring Lori Mason, president and CEO of Seneca Foundry, on Tuesday, August 19.

This event is at noon.

It will take place at Seneca Foundry, 240 MacKinlay Kantor Drive, Webster City.

The celebration marks Mason’s first full year of ownership at the helm of Seneca Foundry. With a strong commitment to preserving the company’s identity as a family-owned business, Mason has dedicated herself to sustaining the foundry’s long-standing presence in the Webster City area, according to a media release from the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce.

The formal ribbon-cutting will include remarks from Mason and joined by her family and the Seneca Foundry team.

Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be served in the company’s break room.

Guests will also have the unique opportunity to participate in guided tours of the foundry. Safety equipment will be provided by the company. All tour participants must wear closed-toe shoes to enter the production areas.

Seneca Foundry has been a vital part of the Webster City manufacturing landscape for many decades. This event is a celebration of both leadership and legacy.
