Sixty-one members of the Webster City High School Class of 1965 met recentlty to celebrate their 60th class reunion.

On Friday, July 25, they met at the American Legion Post 191 for a “mixer.” The banquet on Saturday was held at the Briggs Woods Conference Center where a drone took their photo on the patio.

During the evening, a slideshow of past reunions and local landmarks was played as well as a slideshow of all the stars from the black and white TV shows they watched during their childhood years. Classmate Joyce Patrick George sang “We Fall to Pieces,” a rendition of a Patsy Cline song “I Fall to Pieces.”

On Sunday, 29 classmates and spouses met at the bell tower in Graceland Cemetery where a roll call of 92 classmates who have passed away was read, the bell rung, and a flower for each one was placed in a large gold flower pot.
