Women in Ag Farm Crawl is August 22
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and Washington County Women in Agriculture Advisory Board will hold the Women in Ag Farm Crawl on August 22. This event is from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The farm crawl will feature:
West Fork Farmstead, West Chester — The farm is operated by Brian and Nancy Wilson and family. They produce grass-fed beef, heritage pork, pastured chicken and duck eggs, pastured broilers and raw honey.
Twin County Produce Auction and Stringtown Grocery, Kalona — A stop at the Twin County Produce Auction will be followed by a trip to Stringtown Grocery, an Amish store.
Miller Homestead Cooking, Kalona — A traditional Amish meal. Jams and homemade bread will be available for purchase.
HB Flowers and Beef LLC, Tiffin — A local family farm that produces home-grown flowers and local beef. Cut flower arrangements will be available for purchase.
Registration is $50 and can be completed online or by calling the ISU Extension and Outreach Washington County office at 319-653-4811. Spots are limited.
