Adam Dickinson, the City of Webster City’s Electric Utility supervisor, accepts a financial donation from NIMECA Board members on behalf of Bryan Dayton, who was injured while restoring power on March 19. Dayton, a City of Webster City lineman, was seriously hurt when he came in contact with a live wire during a snowstorm. There will be a fundraiser on Dayton’s behalf July 26 at Rails Bar & Grill in Eagle Grove. NIMECA is the North Iowa Municipal Electric Cooperative Association. Its members are Algona Municipal Utilities, Alta Municipal Power Plant, Bancroft Municipal Utilities, Coon Rapids Municipal Utilities, Graettinger Municipal Light Plant, Grundy Center Municipal Light & Power, Laurens Municipal Light & Power, Milford Municipal Utilities, New Hampton Municipal Light Plant, Spencer Municipal Utilities, Sumner Municipal Light Plant, City of Webster City, and West Bend Municipal Utilities.
