Corgis on the loose

A packed crowd escaped the blistering heat and humidity in the air-conditioned show arena where the Corgi races were held. “I am not sure if any of the dogs were descendants of the late Queen Elizabeth’s Corgi as they were completely lacking in decorum,” said Lynn Pringle, who witnessed the event in the show arena. Without lanes, the finish line was not obvious to the dogs. “The small, short-legged, fluffy, fox-eared dogs were more concerned with chasing each other’s tales in loop after loop,” said Pringle.
