City Council of Webster City will meet on Monday
The City Council of Webster City will meet Monday evening in the council chambers of City Hall, 400 Second Street, Webster City.
This meeting begins at 6 p.m.
On the agenda is motion on the Hamilton County Fair’s funding special request for $10,000 for the 2025 year from the Hotel Motel Tax funds.
There will be a public hearing at 6:05 p.m. to consider an amendment to the Code of Ordinances that will impact off-street parking. That will be followed by the first reading of the ordinance.
That will be followed by a public hearing to consider an amendment to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Webster City regarding controlled access facilities. That hearing will be followed by the first reading of the ordinance.
The council will hold the third reading of an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Webster City pertaining to solar energy systems within the corporate limits of the city.
Also, the third reading of an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Webster City to establish new rates to be charged for electrical energy sold by the City of Webster City is expected to be held.
The council is expected to hold the second reading of an ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Webster City pertaining to parking within the corporate limits of the city.
And it will hold the first reading of an ordinance to designate special 45 mph speed zones.
