STANHOPE — The August Seniors and Law Enforcement Together — SALT — meeting will be held Thursday, August 7, at the Stanhope Community Center, Stanhope.
This event begins at 9 a.m.
Refreshments will be served, and Van Diest Medical Center personnel will provide free blood pressure checks.
The meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. with announcements from local law enforcement and officials from area agencies, and upcoming events from around Hamilton County.
Bob Oliver, of Webster City, a railroad historian and train enthusiast, will present a program on the history of railroads in Hamilton County.
SALT meetings are free and open to the public. The meetings are held bi-monthly at locations throughout Hamilton County.
