Drs. Subhash and Sushma Sahai were recognized during Tuesday evening’s concert at the Prem Sahai Auditorium, Webster City High School. They are pictured here.

“The Prem Sahai Concert — Healing Harmonies,” during which seven choirs performed, honored not only the family of philanthropist Prem Sahai, for whom the auditorium is named, but also paid thanks to Greta Nelson, WCHS vocal music instructor, who departs from the school system at the end of the school year to take a position in another district. It is hoped that all future spring concerts at WCHS will be dedicated to the memory of Prem Sahai.

Proceeds from the concert will help Central Iowa Recovery, which is consolidating its services at a single Webster City location serenity, raise funds for a “serenity garden,” a new entrance and more parking. It is located at the former Lawn Hill Elementary.
