American Legion Post 191 presented a check for $4,130 Tuesday to benefit the Bryan Dayton family. The money was raised through donations during a benefit breakfast. Additional checks were also presented to the family, bringing the total up to $4,320. Derek and Kaden Dayton are sons of Bryan Dayton. Hilpipre is their grandfather. Bryan Dayton, a City of Webster City lineman, was seriously injured when he came in contact with a live wire during a March 19 snowstorm.
