JunqueFest returns downtown

Seventy-six vendors and loads of people created a vibrant downtown in Webster City Saturday. “It was great — busy and steady all day,” Wildcat Distillery Co. proprietor Tony Nelson said. “We had a lot of newer customers as well.” Peggy Joslin, Country Twist Boutique, said: “This past Saturday, (JunqueFest) proved to be an amazing experience. Sincere thanks are offered to everyone involved. Country Twist Boutique appreciates everyone who stopped by. New friendships were established.” Kent Bailey, Boone River Rusticks, added: “We had a good show. The weather cooperated, and the crowd was great. We enjoyed having it back downtown.”
