Lynx will host Robo Rumble on Saturday
On Saturday, February 22, 22 of the top FIRST LEGO League teams from across the state will meet in Webster City for a tournament.
The Lynx Robo Rumble will be the first post season FIRST LEGO League tournament in the state. The Lynx Robot Rumble is focusing on the robotic side of FIRST LEGO League.
Teams will start off in the morning in Group Play. Teams have seeded into groups based on their highest regional qualifier or state tournament robot match score.
Each team will get three matches against the other teams in their group and will score points based on their performance.
In the afternoon the Rumble stage will start. The Rumble stage is a single elimination tournament. Teams with higher scores will advance and lower scoring teams will be out.
The Lynx Robo Rumble is being held a the Webster City High School Competition Gym. Doors open at 7:45 a.m. and competition starts at 9 a.m.
Admission to the tournament is free.
