Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will implement K9 program

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday the implementation of a K9 program at its office.

“The program will be community-oriented, will aid in protecting and serving our communities and be funded through generous donations,” according to Hamilton County Sheriff Alex Pruismann.

“The citizens of Hamilton County will be seeing many updates in the near future on our program and the deputy that will be in charge of the program. We will work closely with our area law enforcement partners to combat illegal activity and having this K9 will be another tool we can use to make our community safer.”

If you would like to donate to the program you can write checks to:

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office

Hamilton County K9 Fund

2300 Superior Street, Suite 8
